2020 Paintings

REDEMPTION,60wx50x2cm,acrylic,ink,glitter glue,on canvas,$200+P&H

The above painting has been sold.

It represents the Blood of Jesus poured out over the whole world, all of mankind, for our sins.

His LOVE covered every single inch of this planet wherever any soul was living.

“For God so (greatly) loved and dearly prized the world, that He (even) gave His (One and) only begotten Son, so that whoever believes and trusts in Him (as Saviour) shall not perish, but have eternal life.” John 3:16

It was inspired by Matt Redman’s song “Love So High.”

Take a moment today to think about why you are really here on this planet, and why you were born for such a time as this current time in history. Do you believe in God? If so, are you walking closely with Him as you need to be, especially during this crazy time? If not, why not? Do you think you were born into this troubled world just to suffer anxiety, fear, doubt, illness, depresssion, and/or a myriad of other misfortunes, just for nothing at the end of your life here?

There is so much more to life, and life eternal is God’s promise to us, if we believe and receive the sacrifice of His Son Jesus.

To find out more, consider purchasing a copy of my book, “DESTINY.”

You see, the day I handed my life over to Jesus, my whole life history changed from confusion and nothingness, to purpose and destiny.

Email me. I promise, you will not be disappointed.

God’s Presence in the Arts ~ 1 . . .

Joshua 24:15

This painting is one of the eleven that I painted last year 2020. I have been inspired in recent years to paint worship songs. The one above was inspired by Joshua Aaron’s song ‘You Are Holy’. It is from Joshua 24:15 ~

“And if it is disagreeable in your sight to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves today whom you will serve: whether the gods which your fathers served which were beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you are living; but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

It is a declaration I make every morning over my family and for those for whom I am praying. In this time of uncertainty that has come upon us, it is so critical that we seek God with all our hearts, for He is the only one who can save.

As Christians, we have talked about the end times as described in Daniel, the Gospels and Revelation, to name a few references, but I don’t think we ever seriously saw ourselves in those times. Well, many Christians today, myself included, are convinced that we are now in the last days of the last days. In other words, if our existence could be measured pertaining to a clock, then I’m pretty convinced we are at one miniute to midnight.

All that is happening in the world, such as the wars and rumours of wars, rioting around the globe, authorities attempting to dehumanize us by forcing opinions on us, wanting to mandate inoculations and what we put into our bodies and so much more, are symptoms of a world in decline.

We need to decide which god we are going to serve: the god of humanism and worldliness and couldn’t-care-less-about-anyone-else-but-myself, or the God who made us and the whole universe. He knows what He is doing and often uses the bad things that happen to us to get our attention, so that we will return to Him, or maybe come to Him for the first time.

There really is a Devil, and he wreaks havoc upon this fallen world with his lies, hatred, deceptions and delusions. Our Heavenly Father is a God of love and He does not send viruses and destruction upon us.  But He does at times allow these things to happen, and doesn’t stop them, wanting us to call on Him for help instead of continuing in our own strength without Him.

Sometimes we need extreme circumstances in our lives to cause us to fall to our knees and call out for God’s help.

There are events yet to happen, according to the Word of God, that I would like to talk about in my next post, because I want you to be ready, prepared, and with me when they happen.

“I am the [only] Way [to God] and the [real] Truth and the [real] Life; no-one comes to the Father but through Me.” Jesus ~ John 14:6 AMP
