Giving to God . . .

Proverbs 19:17 ~ “He who is gracious and lends a hand to the poor lends to the Lord, and the Lord will repay him for his good deed.”

Matthew 25:40 ~ “I assure you and most solemly say to you, to the extent that you did it for one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it for Me.

BIBLE SOCIETY ~ They have been supplying  Bibles in every language around the world for decades.

FRIEND’S OF ISRAEL ~ In 1948 after thousands of years of exile the Jewish people began returning to their promised land and finally it became Israel. Many are trying to destroy it, or claim it for themselves, but God is with His people, and is looking after them. Many Christians today look at the Church as a replacement for the Jewish faith. If you are interested in learning more about Israel please click on the link below and go and read some fascinating information about the relevancy of Israel and its major role in history, particularly the end times. My education on this is limited. I have been reading their magazine Israel My Glory for a while now and have learned a lot, but reading what the Messianic Jew has to say about the Old Covenant in relation to the New Covenant is . . . WOW!

OPEN DOORS ~ There are Christians around the world who are persecuted for their faith. For believing in Jesus. They are ridiculed, taunted, beaten, kicked out of their homes, thrown into prison (nothing like ours) . . . are tortured, have their homes destroyed, and their churches, and some even die for their faith. We are so lucky to live in the Nation we live in where we are free to worship without any fear of retribution. Open Doors supports and encourages these precious souls all around the world.

PROJECT GRL ~ Rescues girls and women from the sex trade, and sets them up in houses where they can heal and learn new trades.

SALVATION ARMY ~ Supports and encourages those who are homeless and/or in need.

WORLD VISION ~ Even though it seems such a huge job, and so many people are displaced, hungry, sick, abused, terrorized, and tortured and/or sold (child slavery) and it seems an impossibility to be able to make a difference, I look at it from the perspective that, the child you may be sponsoring, or the community you may be purchasing clean water for, may just end up being responsible for such radical change in their nations, for prosperity, freedom, change, and revival, that to do nothing is just as big, if not a bigger, injustice.
